Nazgul Cholponbaeva joined the OSCE Academy in 2026 as a Child Rights Regional Officer in the Global Campus Central Asia, one of the eight regional Masters Programmes in Human Rights of the Global Campus of Human Rights network. Nazgul obtained her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Columbia University (New York, USA) with a concentration in Social Policy and International Social Work. She is an experienced professional with almost 20 years of experience in the domain of child protection in UN and development organizations’ projects including government-led reform projects in child protection, advocacy, social welfare, and social work in Kyrgyzstan, the USA, Ukraine, and Bangladesh.
